Two ridge tiles had come loose after the wind and I was worried about the whole roof. John came out, went up and showed me photos of what he'd found, then sorted it the same week. Tidy, calm and straight with me.
Had a damp patch on the landing ceiling for months. John traced it to the flashing round the chimney rather than the tiles, which saved a lot of work. Everything was swept up before he left.
Asked about a full re-roof and John told me honestly the roof had a good few years left and just needed the guttering doing. Not many would say that. He'll be the first person I ring when it does need replacing.
